We have a strong relationship with our parish primary school St Mary’s Bryanston Square, built in 1824 to serve the local community. Moving to its current location on Enford Street, the school is a one-form entry school with an Ofsted rating of Good (May 2023), with 4 out of 5 areas graded OUTSTANDING.
The school is a harmonious place in which children are nurtured and encouraged to learn and develop. The school is based on Christian values, our school vision ‘Excellent with Compassion’ is based on Jesus’ teaching: Mark 12:30-31 - ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. And love your neighbour as yourself.’
As a Church school, they believe every child is made in the image of God, and therefore want the very best for them. That means achieving the highest possible academic standards, but also means that they value the whole child – mind, body, and spirit – and seek to create a culture of love, respect, wellbeing, and safety for everyone in our community.
The school is supported by Angie our Children’s worker, through weekly collective worship and pastoral support offered by Rev Kirstine, our curate. We also serve on the board of governors. You can find out more about the school and how to apply for a place here.
